Linkara’s methodical deconstruction of a comic book and his detailed analysis of everything from the plot to the characters to the sсript to the artwork helped me realize that just because something isn’t considered “high art” doesn’t excuse people who are lazy/bad at it. Why shouldn’t we hold comics to the same standards that we hold books, movies and other forms of media? There’s rarely a time when I don’t learn something new from one of his reviews, and it’s even rarer that he doesn’t provide me with a lot of awesome things to think about.

Plus, I don’t think I’ll ever get that damn theme song out of my head.
